Rainer Schultheis from the \u00d61 Weather Department provided interesting insights on January 27th at the FH-Campus Linz on how weather forecasts are created. The attendees were particularly interested in the explanations about weather-determining changes that could be related to weather sensitivity. Schultheis stated, &#8220;Even before the weather changes become visible, our bodies have to compensate for changes in atmospheric conditions, such as falling air pressure. If this compensatory ability is impaired, it can lead to discomfort &#8211; weather sensitivity.&#8221; From a medical technology perspective, Schultheis made an interesting connection by associating individuals with amputations with the neural sphere of weather sensitivity and provided valuable indications. He also emphasized that this area is still poorly researched. Based on the specific experiences of those affected, future medical meteorological research should focus more on identifying the physical causes and their effects in order to provide more precise information.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Mag. Rainer Schultheis von der \u00d61 &#8211; Wetterredaktion gab am 27. J\u00e4nner am FH-Campus Linz interessante Einblicke, wie Wetterprognosen erstellet werden. Mit besonderem Interesse verfolgten die Anwesenden die Ausf\u00fchrungen \u00fcber wetterbestimmende Ver\u00e4nderungen, welche mit der Wetterf\u00fchligkeit im Zusammenhang stehen k\u00f6nnten. &#8220;Noch bevor die Wetterver\u00e4nderung sichtbar wird, muss unser K\u00f6rper Zustandsver\u00e4nderungen in der Atmosph\u00e4re, wie etwa einen fallenden Luftdruck, ausgleichen. Ist dieses Ausgleichsverm\u00f6gen beeintr\u00e4chtigt, kann es zu Beschwerden &#8211; zur Wetterf\u00fchligkeit &#8211; kommen&#8221;, so Schultheis. Aus medizintechnischer Perspektive interessant: Schultheis ordnete Menschen mit Amputationen dem neuralen Formenkreis der Wetterf\u00fchligkeit zu und gab wertvolle Hinweise. Er wies auch darauf hin, dass dieses Gebiet noch wenig erforscht sei.
